One of the classic assignments from Conestoga’s graphic design program is the beer design system. As I sift through countless designs on the web, I can’t help but notice a few that really stand out.
One of them being Cocktail Sodas, but it stood out mostly because of the printing techniques printed on both the bottles and the box.
As a design student I have dreamed of a day when I have access to professional screen printing, and especially happy for the day I get to use white ink. The look of unbleached paper with white type is rather trendy right now, but it’s definitely hear to stay for awhile. Even in this case where perhaps the type on the logo is not the strongest element in the design, it still looks modern, fresh and crisp when printed on with white.
